Using the AnkerMake mobile app, first raise the Z-axis to 100 or 150mm. With the use of only one of your hands, grab the gantry as you would a motorbike handle and attempt to make the gantry wobble using a twisting-like motion (like you would rev your engine on a motorbike).
NOTE: If your X-gantry isn’t wobbling and your Z-axis also moves freely, you have a correct Z-block tension as-is and this guide will not apply to you.
1. Remove grey outer protective cover on the left side of the X-axis gantry.
2. With cover removed, slightly (and NOT fully) loosen the screws circled in RED to permit the slider to move.
3. Next, tighten/loosen the circled screw to allow the slider to move closer or away from the Z-axis column (adjusting Z-block tension). Your goal is to only tighten to a point to where the wobbling stops.
4. Move the gantry to the max position (250mm) via the AnkerMake mobile app, then perform a Z-axis homing procedure. Repeat this step two or three times to ensure smooth movement.
5. Reassemble things back together by following the above steps in reverse order.
