Small pieces of filament can get stuck in the filament run-out sensor. It can be removed and cleaned.
2. Remove the front plastic cover. Lift up and out.
3) Disconnect the wire to the filament sensor.
4. Remove 2 screws.
5. Lift out the filament senor. Notice filament pieces inside.
6) Remove 2 screws.
7) The side of the enclosure will open with the PCB (circuit board) on it. Keep it safe to one side.
8) Working on a flat surface, open the top of the enclosure. Do not let the parts fall out.
9) Reference view of all parts.
10) Hold the parts in the enclosure with your thumb. Shake out any loose filament pieces.
Re-assemble in reverse order.
